So Monster has been advertising this new promotion they are having where you save up your pull tabs from your cans and you can mail them in for "free" gear on their website. Seems like an awesome promotion, right?

WRONG. I have been saving up my pull tabs for 2 T-Shirts. I need to collect 80 pull tabs. That's basically the equivalent of drinking 80 monster energy drinks.

You have to send your pull-tabs into Monster so they can calculate them and add them to your account.

Then once they have your tabs, you can use it to "buy" the gear.

When you are ready to "buy" the gear, not only does it cost you 80 cans of monster, but they charge 6.99 shipping per EACH ITEM. So 2 T-Shirts is going to cost me $13.98. I have never in my life spent 14 dollars on shipping to ship 2 T-Shirts. What a ripoff.

You are basically paying for the shirts because you know it isn't going to cost them 14 dollars to ship them to you unless its overnight! I can see paying 6.99 shipping for your total order, but the nerve of them to think they can charge 7 dollars per item shipping is insane.

My pull-tabs went in the garbage. Thanks for nothing, Monster!

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Monetary Loss: $14.
